Privacy
This page covers kartcommerce.ca and the Kart waitlist. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are
Kart Commerce is made by Great White North Design (GWND), in Norfolk County, Ontario. Questions about your information go to you@greatwhitenorthdesign.ca.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist:
- Your email address.
- Your store’s name and type, if you choose to give them.
- Where you came from: the campaign tag in the link you followed, or the website that sent you here (for example facebook.com). Never the page you were reading or anything about you on that site.
- When you joined, and the internet (IP) address the form came from, so we can stop abuse.
If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can answer you.
What we don’t do
- No cookies on kartcommerce.ca.
- No analytics, tracking pixels or ads. The page doesn’t load anything from other companies.
- We never sell, rent or share your information for marketing.
Why we collect it
To send you one email when Kart opens to new stores, and to understand which kinds of stores are interested. You’ll also get a confirmation right after you join. We won’t add you to any other list.
Where it’s kept
On our servers in Toronto, run by Fly.io. Emails are sent through our email provider, Resend, which may handle your address in the United States to deliver them. Only GWND staff can see the waitlist.
How long we keep it
Until Kart opens and we’ve sent the launch email, or until you leave the list. If you leave, we keep your address marked as “left” only so we don’t email you again. Ask us and we’ll delete it completely.
Your choices
- Every email we send has a link to leave the list.
- Email you@greatwhitenorthdesign.ca to see what we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We’ll answer within 30 days.
- If you’re not happy with how we handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Stores using Kart
Kart itself keeps a store’s sales, products and customers in that store’s own WooCommerce website, not with us. Pilot stores have their own agreement with GWND.
